What is GHB

gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid is a depressant class substance. It is found naturally as a neurotransmitter and is also a precursor to GABA, glutamate, and glycine in certain brain areas.  It has also been used in a medical setting as a general anesthetic to treat conditions such as insomnia, clinical depression, and alcoholism and to improve athletic performance. 

What are the effects of GHB

Subjective effects submitted by users report GHB produces intense states of euphoria comparable to that of MDMA and for this reason, it is often called “liquid ecstasy”.  GHB induces profound muscle relaxation, dizziness and social and behavioral disinhibition similar to alcohol.

HARM POTENTIAL OF GHB

To avoid a possible overdose of GHB, it is important to start with a low dose and work your way up slowly by increasing the dosage in small increments.  Be mindful and take your time when measuring your doses. GHB should never be mixed with any other substances.  Mixing GHB with other substances, especially depresants like alcohol, can lead to a potentially lethal overdose.
